Prices are net and in US funds. We have one copy of each book at the time of posting the lists. All are subject to prior sale. Please reserve any item by giving the author, title & bookid by e-mail to reserve the books you want. Please tell us the country you are in so we can estimate the shipping cost. We will confirm by e-mail if they're still available. We will hold the items for 14 business days pending receipt of your cheque or money order. Arrangement can be made for payment in other currencies but a bank exchange fee will be charged for currencies other than US or Canadian $'s, on North American banks.
We can accept Visa, MasterCard or Paypal, as well as cheques on US or Canadian banks or international money orders in US funds on a US bank. We can also accept postal money orders or money orders from Western Union. Please make all cheques & money orders payable to 'Errol Porter'. Once we have confirmed that the book or books you are interested in are still available, and you wish to pay by credit card, you will need to forward your credit card information (card number, expiry date, name on card, and address). If ordering by credit card, the address you give should be the billing address for the credit card. If it is different, we will need both your shipping and card billing address. You may send this information either by email [errolp@horizonbook.com], snail mail, fax or by leaving the information on our 24 hour answering machine (416 226 4282, if we are not there, please leave the information on the secure answering machine). To order using Visa or MasterCard you may use a secure order form, that will notify us when you enter the data. Please use your 'Back' button to return to our pages if you wish to browse further. Your credit card is not charged until you have agreed to the shipping charges by email.
You may also deposit directly to our bank account (wire transfer) but there is a US$8.00 bank service fee for orders under US$200 (no charge for orders over US$200.). Please inquire for details.
The cost of shipping is extra. We do not charge a handling or packing fee and take pride in wrapping items well and securely. We ship anywhere in the world and charge only what we have to pay either the post office, UPS, or other shippers. Insurance is extra at $1.20 per $100. We will automatically insure orders over $100.00. Shipping by air, UPS or FedEx can be done at cost if requested. Orders to Canadian addresses will have the 5% GST added to the total (registration # R136863693).
The cost of shipping prints by surface mail is $8.00 for the total order in US & Canada, elsewhere at cost. Insurance is extra at $1.20 per $100.
All books or prints listed here have been carefully described. We use the standard terms for describing condition as accepted in the antiquarian book trade. Neat inscriptions by previous owners are sometimes not noted. Clipped prices on dj's are not always noted. We will happily give more details on any item upon request. Any item may be returned for any reason within 7 days for a refund, but if found not corresponding to its description it may be returned within 7 days for a refund plus the shipping cost, if we are emailed in advance, and the item is returned in the same condition as sent.
Pictures of any book are available upon request.
All customer information (including name, address, Visa, Email addresses, and everything else) is never shared, sold or given out for any reason or under any circumstances, or in any form. Strict confidentiality of all customer information is preserved at all times. Our fax machine and telephone answering machine are fully secure.
Please reserve any items by email --- giving the author, title and bookid. We will confirm by e-mail if they are still available. Ordering by email is the most effective method and it gives me a chance to find the item and to weigh it for calculation of shipping cost.
